Mettler Toledo will release its first ever line of economy scales during the third quarter of 2004.  Expected release is late April.  The line will include weight indicators, floor scales, bench scales, crane scales, counting scales, compact scales, and pallet jack scales. 

Mettler Toledo has always been the worldwide leader in the weighing industry.  The Xpress line continues this dominance.  The Mettler Toledo product has a tremendous reputation for robust performance in industrial environments, as well as for technological advancement.  MT is always better, and always ahead of its competitors.  The Xpress line is no different. 

Many scale manufacturers have been marketing low-priced scales for years.  These products were "throw-away" scales, though.  They didn't cost much, but they didn't last long, either.  Of course, "you get what you pay for", but MT is TWICE AS LARGE AS ITS CLOSEST COMPETITOR, and this strength has allowed us to create a line of scales that, while not quite as robust as the typical Mettler Toledo product, is MUCH BETTER than any competitor's economy line, while at or below their pricing!
