1/17/2009 - Control Magazine Still Loves Us

The December 2008 issue of Control magazine listed the top 50 automation companies ranked by volume of sales.  The only weighing company listed was...you guessed it, Mettler-Toledo.  Mettler-Toledo was ranked number 50 in global automation sales, as well as North American sales, but again, we were the only weighing equipment company who made the list.  While there are other weighing manufacturers who make some quality products, don't be fooled by their hype.  Mettler-Toledo is still THE weighing equipment manufacturer.  Birmingham-Toledo is an independent distributor for several manufacturers, but we are proud to be associated with the TOP manufacturer in the world.  While the superior quality of our technical employees has placed us at the top of the Alabama market, we believe that the superior quality of our main manufacturer, Mettler-Toledo, is also a big piece of the puzzle.  Control magazine loves us, and so do our customers!

Additionally, the January 2009 Readers' Choice Awards have listed Mettler-Toledo as the number one supplier of load cells and weighing systems.  Number two was Vishay BLH, while Hardy was listed third.  The fourth place manufacturer was Kistler-Morse, while Rice Lake was ranked fifth.  We are proud to sell for all of these manufacturers, as well as others who keep quality in mind.  Through either direct distributorships or local partnerships we are able to offer virtually all manufacturers' products, yet we choose to offer only those products that we feel are of such quality that they will be helpful to you and your application.
