ATI Alldyne has been an industry leader for more than 80 years. They provide the very best Tungsten, Tungsten Carbide and Molybdenum powders available. Their extensive knowledge of these products, as well as the manufacturing systems necessary to work with these materials (powder milling, pressing and sintering) gives  them a world-class approach to take their customers from start to finish -- from powder to product.

ATI Alldyne has four plants in Alabama. Their primary business is the manufacture of specialty metals which make other metals stronger. Birmingham-Toledo's Decatur operation established a working relationship with the Huntsville, AL facility in 1996 when it was known as Teledyne. At the time BTI had existing relationships with the Gurley, AL and Grant, AL plants. We have since become a partner at the Madison, AL facility, as well. 

All sites are accredited to ISO 9001.  This calls for close overview of all of their operating equipment, as well as the performance of their vendors.  Each month BTI is graded in three areas: Delivery Time, Quality and Service. Huntsville, the largest of the Alabama facilities, presented BTI with their 2007 Supplier of the year award. A very nice trophy and certificate were presented to Brad Williams, the BTI Decatur manager.  The award certificate is above.

Additionally, BTI Decatur was presented with the 2004 Tungsten Products (Now ATI Firth Sterling Madison) supplier award.  BTI is extremely pleased to receive these awards, as well as to provide the utmost in quality products and services to ATI Alldyne, and to all of our customers.  Regarding the business relationship between the two companies, Williams states, "This customer requires a tough scale and they know that Toledo is the toughest on earth."
