The top-quality products of Mettler-Toledo are still number one according to a recent survey of readers of Control Design magazine.  The September, 2007 issue included results of a readers' poll regarding best quality products currently available to machine builders and system integrators.

Numbers don't lie, at least not in this election. Here, a certain clarity emerges, and while companies that did well will celebrate, and those that didn't might grumble, there's not much to dispute.

Readers voted and told the magazine and its readers which companies they think provided the best quality products and services. The magazine sent questionnaires to about 15,000 Control Design subscribers who have authority to specify, recommend, or purchase industrial automation and control products for industrial machines.

The ballot is as an unaided survey; the magazine did not include a list of vendors or product brands to choose from. Fifty-odd hardware and software categories were listed, and participants were asked to name the companies that provide them the best value for the products with which they have experience.

Once again, as in previous years, Mettler-Toledo came out on top.  Other weighing equipment manufacturers make claims to quality.  Real-world users know who provides the best: Mettler-Toledo.
